Debra Reynolds, RN, JD, graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2003, now named Texas A&M University School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor. She began practicing law for a large medical malpractice defense firm in Dallas, Texas.
In addition to her law degree, Debra has been an advocate for helping make individual lives whole for over 28 years. In 1995, she earned her nursing degree and became licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Her experience as a Registered Nurse has provided her with first-hand knowledge and insight into the daily operations of a hospital environment and the interactions of the healthcare team. Her compassion for the well-being of people has served her well in her practice as a nurse and has followed her in her career as a focused personal injury and medical negligence lawyer.
Prior to co-founding The Law Offices of Reynolds & Reynolds with her brother-in-law, Rusty Reynolds, Debra represented nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations in Texas and throughout the United States in maintaining their statutory and regulatory compliance in order for them to focus on their organization’s particular interests, which included assisting others both within their organizations and beyond.
Debra has been married to her husband, Dusty, for over 29 years, and together they have three children – Timothy, Samuel, and Abigail. Debra enjoys spending time with her family both locally and in her hometown in the Texas Hill Country. Around the house, Debra is often busy helping tend to their 5 dogs and 2 horses. Devoting time to Bible study begins her day and she can often be heard listening to her beloved Christmas music year-round.
