Receiving negligent medical care can lead to a lifetime of physical, mental, and financial burden. At the same time, fighting for justice in the face of medical malpractice can be a steep uphill battle. Proving malpractice is often extraordinarily expensive: cases are complex, can take a long time, and require the witness testimony of multiple medical experts. Despite obvious medical harm, many medical malpractice claims never get off the ground due to these constraints.
Rusty Reynolds wants to keep fighting that fight. He recently joined Seth Greene on the SharkPreneur podcast to discuss medical malpractice litigation and holding our healthcare system to account. Rusty shares his own history working in healthcare administration, seeing the evils of Managed Care turning over the practice of medicine to insurance companies, and his choice to pursue law as a result. Speaking with Seth, he also discusses the challenges of modern medical malpractice litigation and offers sound advice for individuals at every stage of interacting with the medical field.
Our thanks to Seth Greene and the team at SharkPreneur for having Rusty as their guest.
